Silver Creek Campground ( Mount Hermon )

SCC is located in rural western Washington Parish (Mount Hermon). Established in March of 2002, Silver Creek Campground, Inc. can currently accommodate up to 66 RV’s and Campers. Each campsite is full hook-up (electric [30 & 50 amp], sewer, and water), and sites are a combination of crushed asphalt and grass. Campfires are allowed at each site.

Also included in the facilities are: Store, Office, Bathhouse (24 showers & 24 toilets), Meeting Room, Game Room, and Pavilion with a stage area. Silver Creek Campground, Inc. has 90 acres of trails (wooded, hilly, mud pond) that can accommodate four wheelers (fee & waiver), three wheelers (fee & waiver), bicycles, and pedestrians.

Fishing is allowed in SCC at no charge. If one chooses to fish the stocked catfish pond, keep what is caught, $2.00 per pound, no throwbacks.

For the children, there is a playground, which consists of: swings, seesaws, and monkey bars. Also, there are planned activities most every Saturday. Furthermore, the activities are based on the weekend theme. There is also volleyball, horseshoes, and basketball. Cool off in the 25 x 50 in-ground swimming pool (diving board & slide).
